Jessica Thomason

When Jessica was just a kid, she believed she could own the world with a simple paper flag stake and a good ole’ pair of cowgirl boots. In that moment amid Pioneer Land Run Day, with wind in her hair and dust in her teeth, she claimed her land like she was born for greatness. And that she was.

That cowgirl never really left her, as she was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was forced to stake her claim elsewhere but in the same city. She traded the old boots for bare fit; chalky playground dirt for the smooth hot curve of poolside concrete; flag stake for an ice-cold beverage as crisp as fall air. She founded her land, staked her claim, and started to rebuild. She went to school and received her bachelor’s degree in biology from University of Central Oklahoma. Apart from this, she did her best to rescue huskies in her free time.

Alas she still resides in this territory, but many entities come to threaten her peace. The haunting whispers in the wind sent from Pink, and the questionable homogenous chicken nugget meat outside her walls haunts her fences as well as her dreams. With The Real Housewives of New York by her side, she remains steadfast in maintaining her oasis. Although if she had it her way, she would pass the torch of maintenance to the dogs. She trusts their energy more than most human conversations, and she finds that dogs covered in honey mustard foster confidence that no other creature or condiment can bestow her.

The growth of her little lagoon is a mystery as no one can come near. Trespassers are redirected to Ramona Singer’s house, and it is quite confusing for mere pedestrians who accidentally step foot on her territory. Rumor has it she continues to protect her peace in Oklahoma City, and works at OMRF full-time to help fund her oasis.
