Initially, Elizabeth desired to undertake the writing of a historical novel about Bernadine Nathanael Guthrie – a lesser-known 2nd cousin to Woody Guthrie and accomplished harpsichordist. In the course of her research, Elizabeth moved to Oklahoma, started a farm, and began to work in the Miller labs.
Elizabeth got her Bachelor’s and Masters from Wright State University in Ohio.
She has spent her professional career working in labs in Michigan and Colorado. Elizabeth is unique in that a portion of her professional work was outside of academia prior to OMRF.
Elizabeth enjoys all things Scottish, her family, and is kept super busy in that she homeschools her children even before it was cool to do so.
